Chief Technology Architect

Responsibilities:

• Providing guiding direction and promoting continuous evolution of the platform, leveraging emerging technology.
• Owning, documenting and communicating the technology architecture and associated best practices.
• Mentoring the entire team to ensure technology leadership.
• Establishing guidelines, procedures, tools etc to meet non-functional SLAs.
• Ensuring modularity so that future product requirements are easy to implement.
• Driving innovation, conceptualization, and demonstrating proof of concepts using emerging technology that can shape the future direction of the product.

Experience and Skills:

• Should have a thorough knowledge of a cloud provider, especially AWS.
• Should have a thorough understanding of distributed systems, especially MEAN stack.
• Should have knowledge of containers and orchestration of containers, preferably ECS.
• Should have planned, executed and lead project teams towards achieving functionalities defined by management and product team.
• Should be able to communicate effectively.
• Should have experience leading, guiding and nurturing younger engineers effectively.
