Quality Analyst JD

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for web and mobile/tablet applications.
• Estimating, prioritising, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.
• Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs.
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Understanding of general testing principles that guide software testing.
• Exhibiting fluency with bug-tracking systems and QA tools and techniques.
• Demonstrating the role of regression testing and impact analysis in maintenance.
• Experience in Selenium, Maven, Java Various Test engines is a must.

Experience & Skills:

• 2-4 years of proven work experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Must show flexibility to learn work on other technologies tools.
• Should be a team player.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering or a related subject.
